North West has made history as one of the youngest artists ever to chart on the tally.

Both North West and Bump J officially join the ranks of Billboard Hot 100-charting artists, credited to their featured appearances on the new album “Vultures 1” by Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign. After much anticipation, North West’s father, Ye, released the collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign on February 10, 2024 under the joint moniker of ¥$. Independently released through Ye’s YZY brand, “Vultures 1” comprises 16 tracks, including the notable “Talking” featuring North West.

“Talking” serves as North West’s rapping debut. The oldest of Ye and Kim Kardashian‘s children reintroduces herself as “Miss Westie” in the track. “It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t try to test me, it’s gonna get messy. It’s gonna get messy. Just, just bless me,” her lyrics go.

Going forward, let’s pay close attention to Miss Westie because her verse on the track has just earned her the 30th spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 list dated February 24, 2024.

It’s not just “Talking” from Vultures 1 that made its way onto the Hot 100 list. In fact, all 16 songs from the album entered the chart. Surprisingly, “Carnival” claimed the third spot in the top 10 of the all-genre list, ranking only under Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me” and Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold’ Em.” Additionally, the album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for the week.

While it may not hold the highest position, “Talking” reaching number 30 signifies North West’s inaugural appearance on the Billboard chart. According to the media source, this achievement also establishes her as one of the youngest artists ever to grace the list.

Billboard notes that the record for the youngest artist to enter the chart goes to French singer Jordy, who accomplished this feat at the age of five with the song “Dur dur d’être bébé! (It’s Tough to Be a Baby!).” Additionally, Stevie Wonder holds the record for the youngest soloist to top the list, achieving this at just 13 with “Fingertips – Pt 2.”
