Famous rapper Lil Uzi Vert revealed his intention to leave the music scene after dropping his last album, ‘LUV Is Rage 3.’

When questioned about retiring after dropping Luv Is Rage 3, Uzi affirmed, expressing a shift in musical preferences: “Yeah, I love making music, but I don’t really want to make music like that anymore.” Although Uzi didn’t elaborate on the specific music style, he disclosed a plan to transition into the fashion realm, particularly designing women’s clothing.

Despite the unexpected announcement, Uzi doesn’t intend to lead a dormant life. Instead, he actively prepares to explore the fashion industry, gearing up for the establishment of a dedicated home office for his upcoming clothing company. Despite owning her own fashion brand, JT, Uzi’s girlfriend, will not participate in the creative direction of his new venture.

In October, at Pink Tape Tour event in Chicago, Uzi disclosed that the decision to step away from music not too long ago.

“I was gonna wait til later to say it but, you know, I’m dropping Luv is Rage 3 and Luv is Rage 3 will be my last album,” he told the crowd. “After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour. … But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”

Before officially retiring from music, Uzi plans to collaborate with Nicki Minaj on a music video for their song ‘Everybody’. Uzi’s admiration for Nicki Minaj’s music might influence him to reconsider, but currently, he is determined to transition into women’s fashion design. This marks a significant shift from his successful music career, which includes two No. 1 albums this year: ‘Pink Tape’ by Lil Uzi Vert and ‘Pink Friday 2’ by Nicki Minaj.
