YouTube’s most profitable content creator, MrBeast, is taking his “biggest project ever” to Amazon, offering a $5 million prize. The popular internet celebrity, famed for his daring stunts and generous philanthropy, revealed a partnership to launch his “Beast Games” on the subscription streaming platform.

“Big news gamers I’m going to be filming the largest game show in history and releasing it on Prime Video!” he shared on media. “Over 1,000 contestants, $5,000,000 prize, and many other world records.. I’ll reveal more later this year but let’s just say, it’s gonna be an insane show.”

Since 2016, Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, has produced over 800 videos on the platform, captivating an audience of 245 million subscribers, with notable creations like his real-life adaptation of Netflix’s “Squid Game.”

“My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms,” MrBeast said in a statement. “Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.”

The 25-year-old content creator will take on the roles of host and executive producer for the new series. According to reports, the terms of the deal grant him the ability to maintain creative control over his YouTube series while also participating in this new venture.

Amazon MGM Studios chief Jennifer Salke mentioned  in a statement that “MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world.”

The $5 million prize for the “Beast Games” is hailed as the largest single prize ever offered in the history of television and streaming, surpassing the previous record set by the inaugural season of “Squid Games: The Challenge,” which awarded a $4.56 million prize.
