Future‘s “Mask Off,” getting noticed on the internet, as well sweeping its way up the charts. This video for the track, which comes along as his viral #MaskOffChallenge is taking off on social media.
Directed by Colin Tilley, Future tells the tale of the streets, displaying store robberies, explosions and residents getting ready for battle. The Atlanta native can be seen riding through the streets in his luxury whip, seeing all of the madness go down around him. He isn’t alone in the car, however, as the hitmaker recruits Amber Rose to be his leading lady in the passenger seat.
At the end of the video, Amber and Future face each other in a lit-up venue, taking off their masks to reveal their true identities. Of course, a set of Hendrix visuals wouldn’t be complete without a cameo from DJ Esco, who can be seen standing in the streets.
Future’s “Mask Off” is the rapper’s highest-charting at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Last month, the song was officially certified platinum by the RIAA, and is on its way to becoming one of the top contenders for song of the summer.
